A memorial to the soldier taken in battle.
The image for this poster was taken of the scuplture standing in the Jeffersonville Veterans Memorial park.
It took over 60 years for a Memorial to be built honoring the Veterans of the Second World War. Each year we lose thousands of the Veterans to whom the WWII Memorial was made to honor. The majority of those still with us are unable to afford to make the trip to see the Memorial which honors them and their fallen comrades.
There is an organization out there whose purpose is to get as many of those Veterans to Wash. D.C. as possible, if you want to learn more, and to help, click on this box.
As a Veteran, I have, and the rewards are invaluable.
